May and June have the holy trinity of warm weather, quieter beaches and off-peak prices. Busy July and August boast the hottest temperatures, but head over in September or October to catch late sun and still-warm waters.

  Flights touch down at Thessaloniki Airport from three London hubs (Gatwick, Stansted and Luton), along with Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and a host of other cities across Europe. Many routes operate a seasonal timetable, with even more options available in high season. From the airport, it’s around a 70-minute drive to Vourvourou.
