Luxury holidays in Weligama

Set on the surfer-dotted shores and sugar-sand beaches of southern Sri Lanka, Weligama lives up to its moniker — it’s named after the Sinhalese for ‘sandy village’. Days here take on a gentle rhythm: mornings riding waves, beach café lunches, palm tree-framed sunsets, and under-the-stars dinners. And beyond Weligama Bay, you’ll find plenty of pristine coves and secret swim spots.
