Luxury holidays in Palm Beach Gardens

Palm Beach Gardens, which sits just inland of North Palm Beach, is Florida’s holy grail of golfing. Home to none other than the PGA (Professional Golfers’ Association, to us mere mortals), both amateurs and athletes are attracted to the countless clubs the city has to offer. If you’re not interested in lowering your handicap, beyond the manicured courses is a more natural side to the city: birdwatching in state parks, strolling beach boardwalks and paddleboarding through the mangroves.

When to go

Palm Beach Gardens has balmy temperatures and fewer visitors from September to November. Keen golfers will want to keep an eye on the PGA Tour for event dates.

Getting there

  • Planes

Fly into Miami International Airport, then you’re a 90-minute drive from Palm Beach Gardens. Palm Beach International Airport, which services many domestic flights, is 15 minutes away by car.
  • Trains

Tri Rail runs a two-hour service from Miami Airport to Mangonia Park Station, a 10-minute drive from Palm Beach Gardens; it also calls at Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach.
  • Automobiles

We recommend hiring a car to go between golf courses and explore the other parts of Palm Beach.
