Luxury holidays in Arcadia

If you like your pleasures simple and rural, Pan’s playground of Arcadia in the central-eastern Peloponnese is the bucolic backdrop for your next Greek getaway. The hilly haven is not just for goat-footed gods – humans are welcome in this pristine pastoral wilderness, too. Dionysus gets a look in on the wholesome hedonism as well, since there are lots of wineries to call in at. And die-hard Olympics fans can make the pilgrimage east to ancient Olympia, site of the first games, way back in 776 BC.
