One of South America's most renowned wine regions, and often referred to as the Napa Valley of Chile, the Colchagua Valley is actually a colloquialism, whose non-official borders straddle the Rapel and Central valleys, respectively. Names aside, this region's climate offers up warm days with a cooling ocean breeze, which gives rise to intensely characterful Cabernet Sauvignons, Merlots, Malbecs and Syrahs.
