  Fly into LAX, then hop on a one-hour connecting flight to Santa Barbara Airport, which is 50 minutes away from Santa Ynez by car.

• Trains

  Amtrak runs a two-and-a-half hour rail service from Los Angeles’ Union Station to Santa Barbara Amtrak (45 minutes away by car).

• Automobiles

  Santa Ynez Valley is a two-and-a-half hour drive from Los Angeles. To fully enjoy the wineries and vineyards on offer, we recommend hiring a chauffeur to ferry you around safely. Alternatively, keen cyclists can swap four wheels for two and bike between towns.
