Luxury holidays in Cambria

The laidback seaside village of Cambria sits on a stretch of California coastline that’s dotted with pine forests, unspoilt beaches and small towns. Hit the surf off Moonstone Beach (you’ll want a wetsuit), hike into the hills on Bluffs trail, or simply settle your Pendleton blanket on a stretch of sand and soak up the sun. There are vineyards to visit, enormous elephant seals to spy on, and antique shops to peruse in this former California boomtown too.

When to go

The weather stays fairly consistent year round, with daily highs hovering around 18C. Summers are generally sunny, other than morning fog, and April to October is the dry season. Pack an umbrella or anorak for stays between November and March.
