Luxury holidays in Virgin Gorda

Clear shallows, pristine beaches and a flawless reputation for sunshine — there are many ways in which Virgin Gorda suits its nominal innocence; but, in the art of seduction, this Caribbean siren is well versed. One of the four main inhabited British Virgin Islands, it entices with a lively centre in Spanish Town, sea caves and boulder-flanked pools at the Baths, and a verdant national park, ribboned by hiking trails.

When to go

Virgin Gorda’s winter sun game is strong, making Christmas and New Year peak season for visitors; quieter choices include November, earlier in December, March and April. Hurricane season puts pay to trips between the end of July and October.
