Luxury holidays in Bogotá

Bogotá balances its colonial past – cobbled streets, Spanish-Moorish churches – with the ambitions of a modern metropolis – glassy high-rises, universities and chic shopping districts. It may not be a laid-back holiday city like Cartagena or Cusco, but it’s the country’s bustling, business-focused heart and it definitely knows how to unwind after a long day at the office. Fashionable locals flock to spots with up-and-coming chefs in trendy enclaves and buzzy cafes line the well-groomed streets where patrons sip exotic lulo fruit mojitos well into the wee hours.
