Luxury holidays in Bangkok Noi

Bangkok Noi, aka Talat Noi, is a historic neighbourhood centred around its namesake canal, where you could easily while away a morning exploring the district’s narrow streets, storied architecture and temples such as the Horseshoe Shrine. Cafés, indie stores and street art are the modern lacquer enhancing this characterful corner of the Thai capital.

When to go

November to February are Bangkok Noi’s cooler, more comfortable months, but between April and July, the mercury can shoot up to 40ºC. The rainy season runs May to October.

Getting there

  • Planes

International arrivals touch down at Suvarnabhumi Airport, 25 kilometres east of the city centre, or around an hour’s drive from Bangkok Noi.
  • Automobiles

Driving in Bangkok is not for the faint-hearted; stick to transfers and taxis when you need to travel by road.
