Sleepy seaside village Oualidia sits on a crescent cove between Morocco’s Atlantic coast and a saltwater lagoon. It was deemed the country’s first royal beach in the 1940s, by King Mohammed V, and Marrakchi holidaymakers have followed suit ever since.
