Sun-streamed from dusk till dawn, this neighbourless, cubist, rock star villa among the pine trees has an enormous pool with underwater windows, a bar, a staff of 10 – including two butlers and a Michelin-starred chef – and a sprawling rooftop terrace complete with Jacuzzi. Sociable yet secluded, the result is a combination of glamorous party house and shut-the-world-out private escape. A complimentary luxury concierge service is offered throughout your stay, so the only finger you’ll need to lift is the one requesting another mid-afternoon martini.

• The higgledy-piggledy house is spread over numerous floors, levels and terraces. The roof deck with its sunken chill-out zone and dining area is where you’ll be spending most of your time…

• Bedrooms

  There are eight double bedrooms – five in the main house and three under the pool terrace – all with en suite bathrooms and dressing rooms. Five rooms come with a private terrace.
  
  Bedroom 1: Master bedroom with Jacuzzi, 42-inch plasma TV, DVD, CD.
  Bedroom 2: Double with in-room sunken bath and shower, and cave dressing room.
  Bedroom 3: Double connected to the music room and overlooking the pool, with shower room.
  Bedroom 4: Double with four-poster bed and log fire.
  Bedroom 5: Double connected to the master bedroom with shower room.
  Bedroom 6: Ground floor pool terrace double.
  Bedroom 7: Ground floor pool terrace double.
  Bedroom 8: Ground floor pool terrace double.

• Kitchen The chef will prepare what you want, when you want.
• Living room Open-plan modernist living room and dining room with access to the pool and terrace, open fire, cream leather sofas and adjacent TV room.
• Dining room There are three dining zones: inside for 12 before the windows and terrace, up high on the top roof terrace for 25 and by the pool for 25.
• Poolside There is a 32m natural pool with waterfall and subaquatic windows, plus a hydro massage pool on the top terrace alongside a ‘detox box’ infra-red sauna.
• Gardens The pool and bar make up the main outdoor hangout area, where 16 sun loungers lie in the shade of the surrounding pine trees.
• Private parking There is ample parking for up to eight cars.
