Floor plan

  • Bedrooms

There’s plenty to admire in this bright, white room: large circular bed with its own champagne bucket, freestanding Corian bath tub, fresco ceiling, Knoll tulip chair and large Philippe Starck mirror. Vintage-look framed photographs pepper the walls and the cupboards yield plenty of storage. The ensuite bathroom has a rain shower and is decorated with mosaic tiles.

    There's a couch for a third person.

  • Kitchen

The open-plan kitchen is decorated in flamboyant red, with a wooden floor, statement lights and wall hangings. There’s an economic use of space too – a contemporary kitchen island crafted from Corian and Portoro marble helps divide the eating area from the living room.

  • Living room

The open-plan living room has French windows overlooking the river, the Île de la Cité and Pont Neuf bridge. Window seats are a further enticement for guests to take in their surroundings. The white couch and ottoman are by Poltrona Frau, the gold armchair is Moroso and the wooden beams are decorated with 17th-century frescoes.

  • Dining room

Stake out the six black wood-and-leather Maarten Baas-designed chairs and dine at the living room’s baroque glass table.

  • Gardens No grounds (this is central Paris after all).
  • Private parking There’s an underground public car park 100m away on Place du Louvre.

From the Guestbook…

We have travelled to Paris many times and always rent an apartment. They are always superior and much larger than any hotel suite. This was the best apartment we have ever rented. ...
