Overview
You’re welcome to bring the bairns: extra beds and cots can be provided for £45 a night; free for under-fives. Babysitting is available with advance notice (£7 an hour), and there are books, PlayStations and games to entertain them.

Recommended rooms
All rooms can fit an extra bed or cot. Under fives stay free; older children pay £45 a night to stay in parents' rooms. The top-floor master suite can be made into a family suite with an interconnecting room, featuring handmade bunk beds.
Activities
There is a selection of children's books, PlayStations and toys to borrow; just ask at reception. There's a large garden, and children can also run around the library and pool room, where's there's also a fabulous Bonzini Babyfoot table football.
Meals
Breakfast (full Scottish or Continental) is the only meal served here, but the chef is happy to take child-friendly requests.
Babysitting
Babysitting can be organised at £7 an hour. Please give as much notice as possible.
Also
There's a DVD player in every room, and a selection of child-friendly DVDs to borrow. Each room also has an iPod player and dock, so don't forget to download some nursery rhymes. You can also borrow a video player.
