Smith tip
Head to Las Dalias restaurant in San Carles and breathe in the Ibiza hippy history at the outdoor market – it’s the ideal place in which to browse through jewellery and art bargains to the beat of live music.

Best picnics
Head to Cala d’en Serra for a lunchtime or sunset picnic – it’s just a ten minute drive away. Why not completely spoil yourselves and contact your concierge service Deliciously Sorted to ask them to arrange some catering for you?Best beaches
North-coast Cala d’en Serra near Portinatx is a well-kept secret. Aguas Blancas on the northeast coast has a great chiringuito serving caipirinhas and steak sandwiches. Cala Jondal in the east is beloved for its seafood restaurants.Best walks
Take the paths that lead down from Can Tiruit Veil to the rocks and coves. Once down by the sea, you can sun yourselves in privacy. There is a public right of way to these rocks, but it is only known by the locals, so there are never more than a handful of people there. (Smith tip: don’t forget to stick ‘watch the sunset’ on your to-do list here.)Shopping
A welcome hamper of goodies and basics comes with the villa, but why not email complimentary concierge service Deliciously Sorted and arrange for it to go shopping and pre-fill the fridge with all your favourite things? Both Ibiza town and Santa Eulalia have daily markets and big supermarkets where alcohol can also be purchased.Activities
Hire a 4x4 and take to the dirt tracks that criss-cross the pine forests in the north of the island. There’s limitless opportunity for golf, sailing, water-skiing, windsurfing, diving, horse-riding, go-karting and hot-air balloon trips, too. Speak to Deliciously Sorted to arrange.
