Can Talaya

Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain[view map]

Best picnics

Pack a picnic for the beach, or simply lay a rug out in the garden – you’re in the most gorgeous surrounds, after all. Contact your concierge service Deliciously Sorted to ask them to arrange catering for you.

Best beaches

North-coast Cala d’en Serra near Portinatx is a well-kept secret. Aguas Blancas on the northeast coast has a great chiringuito serving caipirinhas and steak sandwiches. Cala Jondal in the east is beloved for its seafood restaurants.

Shopping

You’re just a five-minute drive from San Rafael, with its middle-range supermarket, pharmacy, coffee shop and petrol station. A welcome hamper of goodies and basics comes with the villa, but why not email complimentary concierge service Deliciously Sorted and arrange for it to go shopping and pre-fill the fridge with all your favourite things? Both Ibiza town and Santa Eulalia have daily markets and big supermarkets where alcohol can also be purchased.

Activities

Hire a 4x4 and take to the dirt tracks that criss-cross the pine forests in the north of the island. There’s limitless opportunity for golf, sailing, water-skiing, windsurfing, diving, horse-riding, go-karting and hot-air balloon trips, too. Speak to Deliciously Sorted to arrange.
