Classically restored and re-built to seriously wooden pirate ship standards, Barracuda is a charter yacht just dripping with name-dropping potential. £25,000 for seven days (six nights) high season; £20,000 low (May and October); £10,000 for a three-night weekend stay. Food and drink, airport/boat transfers and water-sports are included. Minimum hire

Weekenders are welcome. Typical hire period is May to September, but if you fancy following the sun, the boat may cruise further south later in the year. Check Barracuda’s website for details.

Eating and Drinking

Barracuda yacht is fully catered with a crew of four. All food and drink on board is included. Up to 16 can be seated at the covered on-deck saloon table, eight at the open-air table on deck, and six at the galley table below decks. A crew of four – a skipper, first mate, chef and stewardess – are at your disposal and on board 24/7. Plan your journey with the skipper and then lie back, tuck into lunch on deck and enjoy the sail. All food and drink on board is included. You won’t find a menu on board Barracuda. Fully-catered, you may request dishes before arrival and/or throughout your stay, or simply provide dietary requirements and wait for the chef to surprise you – it’s your call.

Entertainment

An iPod docking station loaded with 7,000 tracks from Norman and Zoë’s collection is below decks. It can also be plugged into an upstairs amp in the on-deck saloon.

Booking process

A deposit of 50 per cent required. Full payment is required three months prior to arrival. Two months' cancellation notice is required.

Weddings

The boat is not licensed for weddings, but it’s great for pre- and post-celebrations and perfect for honeymooners.
