This sunny, south-facing self-catering property doesn't have its own garden, but it overlooks leafy, formal fountain-studded gardens.

Non-smoking throughout, no pets. There is a spiral staircase which makes disabled access very difficult.

Eating and drinking

On arrival there is a welcome box including champagne, wine and snacks both sweet and savoury. If you don't feel like using the kitchen yourself to create anything more formal, a chef can be arranged.

Housekeeping

On longer bookings, there is usually only a weekly maid service, although an additional clean can be arranged for a small extra fee.

Entertainment

When it comes to audio-visuals, there's a CD player and iPod dock as well as cable TV and DVDs. There's also a laptop on tap and also free WiFi service. On a lofi tip, there's a stash of books to tuck into.

Provided

The PC at your disposal is handy if you don't feel like lugging your own computer. You can leave that bulky toiletry bag and even side-step Duty Free too: shower gel and shampoos stocked as is a booze-packed honesty bar.
