From the comfort of the deep soaking tub you can practically smell the sea breeze. The downstairs master bedroom opens directly onto the pool area and has a private open-air bath surrounded by verdant foliage. The bedroom décor is smart and sophisticated and has a distinctly Asian feel.
There are plenty of relaxation areas, both inside and out, in which to lounge around and take full advantage of the glorious tropical climate. For indoor pastimes the games room complete with pool table and small gym will keep you entertained, as will the generous selection of books, games, music and movies. Soothing water cascades into the enormous saltwater pool which is flanked by two covered cabanas; one with a decadent day bed and the other with a spa bath. Queensland’s premier Four Mile Beach can be accessed directly from the house and the not-to-be-missed Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest are almost on your doorstep. Quite literally on your doorstep, however, is the classy Mirage Resort. Guests are welcome to use their facilities and also take advantage of the world-class golf course. Take a constitutional walk in the breathtaking Mossman Gorge or amble down to the multitude of shops and restaurants in Port Douglas.
