Because there are so few activities available in the surrounding area – other than soaking in the sun or admiring the landscape – the hotel provides an extensive programme of fun stuff, including snorkelling trips up the coast to a local fishermen's village, tours of La Cruz de Loreto, guided fishing trips to catch your lunch, and night-time turtle-spotting with Desconocido's residnet biologist. Windsurfing, kayaking, biking and horse riding on the beach can all be arranged at the hotel.
