Coworth Park
This property is licensed for weddings.
Wow factor
240 acres of parkland that may as well have been planted for wedding albums, a Michelin-starred chef working on your menu, and a scene lime grove and sunken garden to wed in – what’s not to wow over?
Need to know
Coworth Park provides bespoke wedding packages, and is just as suited to intimate affairs as lavish, 250-guest blowouts. The hotel has an events manager on hand, who can arrange all the logistics of the ceremony, as well as transport, entertainment, photography, et al, and Coworth has close links with flower experts at Lavender Green and the Dorchester Florist. Coworth’s chef John Campbell (formerly of Michelin two-star restaurant the Vineyard at Stockcross) will personally meet with the bride and groom to plan menus. The hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies, and a marquee is available for alfresco bashes. There’s enough space for 140 guests overnight – the bride and groom get their room free.
Inspiration
If you’ve a smaller party, hold your wedding in the Dower House – a private, grade II-listed 17th-century residence with its own gardens, kitchen, dining and sitting rooms.
