Matthew Hurst
Wheeler and dealer
Melbourne-based Matthew made his name founding retro bicycle-hire brand The Humble Vintage. As well as penning witty cycling maps to the city full of quirky insider tips (‘routes, rides, rants and raves’), he branched out with cult book The Casual Cyclist’s Guide. Matt likes to mix it up, working as a publicist, copywriter and creative producer with many of Melbourne’s art and design crowd, while writing journalistic features for Vogue Living, The Age and local lifestyle website Three Thousand.
