After many years of working in the music industry and travelling the globe, Jessica Jenkins and her husband, Andy West, kicked the executive lifestyle to the kerb and chose to return to their home state of Maine and open a store that would inspire people (including themselves) to get out into nature. The result? Adventure-spurring, wanderlust-inspiring design stores Daytrip Society and Daytrip Jr (for kids), opened smack-bang in the centre of Kennebunkport. The couple shares a home-office space overlooking their garden where Andy continues to design album covers, and Jessica can be found obsessively uploading design ideas to Pinterest while listening to Jay Z.
