When to go

Colca Canyon’s dry season runs from May to November, with trails in peak condition and you’ll have a great chance of spotting condors.

Getting there

  • Planes

    Arequipa National Airport is just under three hours drive from the canyon. Most flights from Europe arrive in Lima, so you’ll typically need to transfer to Arequipa from there.

  • Automobiles

    If you're driving from Arequipa, you're in for a treat. Your route will take you along the border of the stunning Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve.
