Luxury holidays in Punta Maroma

Punta Maroma can claim one of the Riviera Maya’s most beautiful coastlines, where ombré-effect playas have soft white sands and give way to gin-clear waters and a luminous turquoise reef – the second largest in the world, no less. It’s little wonder, then, that Mexico’s most exclusive resorts have lined up along the shore to secure their own private patch of paradise, each buffered by swathes of mangrove forest and palms. Sunbathing sessions here are interspersed with scuba dives and snorkelling, horse rides on the sand or gazing at the dolphin pods. And, if you crave wilder pastimes of a different sort, Playa del Carmen’s nightlife is just a short drive away.
