Luxury holidays in Millahue

The sweeping valleys of Millahue in central Chile are less than an hour’s drive from the snow-dusted Andes Mountains, which can be seen in the distance, and just over half an hour by car from Chile’s Pacific coastline. This bucolic beauty, just two hours south of capital city Santiago, is blanketed in vineyards – including the Vik estate and those in Colchagua Valley – and dotted with orchards. Wine-lovers are in for Old World-style blends here, and outdoor adventurers can take their pick of seriously scenic horseback riding, cycling and hiking.

When to go

January is the hottest month, with average temperatures hovering around 21°C; in June, temperatures dip to the single digits. You’ll want to pack your rain jackets if you’re visiting in wet July.
