Viroth's Hotel
Overview
Viroth’s is something of a grown-ups paradise, but that doesn’t mean smaller Smiths aren’t welcome. Extra beds can be added to rooms for older children for US$20 a night, but the hotel doesn’t supply baby cots.
Best for
Slightly older kids who'll appreciate Siem Reap's heritage.
Recommended rooms
An extra bed can be added to any of them.
Activities
Mini history buffs will have a lot of fun exploring the temples and Old Town. Further afield, there's plenty of adventure to be had: horse riding, visits to crocodile and snake farms, elephant trekking, quad biking and tours on Tonle Sap Lake.
Swimming pool
It's quite small and mainly suitable for plunging. Plus, it's a quiet spot where adults chill after tromping around temples, so a lot of noise and splashing is not always appreciated.
No need to pack
You'll have to bring everything with you, including a baby cot, if you need one.
