We booked this as a corporate stay while shooting a commercial in NYC. The location was amazing, so close to everything – loads of restaurants, coffee shops in and around East Village and cool shops in Soho. It's a buzzing area and the restaurants, particularly those around us, were amazing. The Smile on Bond St, Peels on Bowery, Bowery's Italian restaurant, Gemma, the Japanese place Hasake on 9th, an amazing little lunch place called Lovely Day in Soho etc. The hotel has a nice lounge area and a pretty cool restaurant and breakfast area. It gets quite busy at night. The rooms are small but comfortable and the beds amazing. The bathrooms with Italian tiles and baths are very cool and views from our corner rooms were stunning as was the sunrise each morning. Staff were friendly albeit some confusion over credit card charges and payment in general. Would definitely recommend this hotel, mainly for its beds and location.

Hotel good. Breakfasts also worth trying and relatively inexpensive. Great location to explore Little Italy, Greenwich village and Soho. Eat at Schillas, which is a 15-min walk to East Village. Great, simply prepared food in a lively but chilled atmosphere. Also has a great bar. If you like good coffee then choose Think Coffee on the Bowery, only a 100 yards south of The Bowery.

Good hotel in a great location. Try and get a room with a view of the Manhattan skyline from your bathroom. I was looking for breakfast at 6am and was recommended Cozy's Diner & Cafe on Broadway, a short walk from the hotel. It's a 24-hour joint and does a simple but tasty breakfast. I will be back again.

Loved it. The bed is amazing! Service is great, room service fast and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
