One Restaurant has quietly elegant interiors and a fantastic brasserie menu of Europhile favourites that makes use of local ingredients wherever possible.

- Top table See and be seen at a window table, or go for table towards the back for cosy tête à têtes
- Last orders Food's available all day in One Restaurant, until 10pm; drinks flow in the bar until 12.20am. Afternoon tea is served between 2pm and 5pm – be sure to book.
- Room service 24 hours; choose from the full One menu during kitchen hours, or a lighter snack menu when it's closed.

Our favourite rooms
All rooms are well appointed with crisp decor and utility-chic bathrooms; nine feature glass panels that flick from frosted to clear at the flick of a switch. Two of the Superior rooms have Juliet balconies (we like room 103), another two have French windows that open onto little teak decks. Deluxe room 205 is larger, with big bay windows. Three rooms have a bath – request one when booking if this is a must; the Deluxe room with a bath also has a balcony, making it one of our favourites.
Packing tips
