The hotel is licensed to carry out wedding services and can host parties of 40, accommodating a maximum of 14 guests staying overnight. The Boatshed can put you in touch with a wedding celebrant so you can arrange details of your wedding licence and ceremony timing. Staff will also stand in as witnesses during the service should you need. They also have good contacts with a local photographer, florist, wedding planner, beautician and spa for sorting all your other big day details.

The hotel can whip up a glam dinner for you – and for added romance, if you're staying at The Lighthouse, the meal can be served privately at the top of your three-storey suite, which boasts outdoor decks for sipping champagne, to ensure you end your day on a high. The chef will also happily design a menu for you based on your favourite foods.
