Six Senses Hua Hin
Getting there
Four hours south of Bangkok, Six Senses Hua Hin is a sigh-inducing retreat in the sleepy village of Pranburi on the Gulf of Thailand.
- Planes Six Senses’ nearest operating airport is Bangkok’s international Suvarnabhumi Airport (www.bangkokairportonline.com). From here, it’s a scenic three-hour drive south-west to Pranburi.
- Trains Board an express train from Bangkok’s Hualamphong station (the trip will take around four hours), then flag a taxi for the final 40-minute journey to Pranburi.
- Automobiles Hua Hin Limousine Service (www.huahin-limousine.com) not only ferry folk from Suvarnabhumi Airport, but can be hired for trips around town. Hua Hin is a 40-minute drive north of Pranburi. If you have nerves of steel and a truckload of travel insurance, jump on the back of a motorbike taxi.
