Getting there
- Planes It takes 10 minutes to drive from the Puro Hotel to Palma de Mallorca Airport, also known as Son Sant Joan. An hourly shuttle bus carries five guests at a time between the hotel and the airport, or you can pick up a taxi (which will cost you about €10 each way) or hire car at the airport. Alternatively, you can book a chauffeur-driven car from the airport for €39.
- Trains Take the scenic route to Palma on the vintage steam train from Sóller’s beautifully restored train station. The journey takes around an hour, and a return ticket will cost €11 or so.
- Automobiles You’ll need a car to hunt out the most secluded Mallorcan beaches and the best restaurants; the hotel offers car rental, or you can pick one up at Palma Airport. The hotel doesn’t offer private parking, but there is a public car park nearby.
- Others Take the ferry from Port de Sóller to visit Sa Calobra, one of Mallorca’s most spectacular natural attractions.
