We had such a lovely time in Kilgraney House the food was amazing the whole place is beautiful it was such a treat.

If you can tear yourself away from the relaxed tranquillity at Kilgraney House then a pint of Guinness in O'Sheas (+353 (0)59 977 3106) in nearby Borris is a must: part hardware store part pub where you really can get a 100W bulb with your drink! For a nice gentle walk amongst some fine mature trees (including the longest monkey puzzle tree avenue) visit Woodstock on your way to Kilkenny.

We had a relaxing stay at Kilgraney House – the dinner was a stylish affair that was beautifully presented and breakfast will fill you up for hours (in fact almost until dinner time). The spa is well worth a visit – the full body massage is a must! I would recommend a visit to Kilkenny which isn't that far in the car from Kilgraney House (take the R702 to the N10 which will lead you there). It's a lovely mediaeval city which is great to stroll around. You must stop off at the National Craft Gallery (admission is free), which is next to the Kilkenny Design Craft Centre.
