Arrive to your wedding by canal boat. You can sail up the Prinsengracht canal to the hotel – it’s situated in a canal house with some of the best views in Amsterdam. Plain old horse and carriage is also an option.
Need to know
This isn’t the place to host a mega-scale event, but if small and intimate’s your thing, it’s perfect. The hotel can help arrange the cake, flowers, photography, beauty treatments, transport, guest accommodation and entertainment. The Strawinsky Room has five French windows opening out onto a patio and can host a larger party; a cosy soiree for six can be held in the library, overlooking the canal.
