Hotel Brick
Getting there
Hotel Brick is located in La Roma, one of Mexico City's most charming neighborhoods, on the corner of Tabasco and Orizaba.
- Planes Benito Juárez International Airport is nine miles from the hotel. Transfers cost US$75 to the hotel and US$50 back to the airport.
- Trains The metro is quick and cheap, with line 5 linking the airport to the city centre, but it can be hectic – a taxi is the best option for hassle-free exploring. If you decide to brave it, Insurgentes is the closest station, a 10-minute walk away.
- Automobiles Taxis to the heart of the city from the airport cost around US$20 – look for the authorised stands inside the terminal to avoid being overcharged. Bumper-to bumper traffic can add up to half an hour to the journey, so allow plenty of time. If you’re feeling adventurous, cars can be rented at the airport from Europcar (www.europcar.com) but Mexico City’s chaotic and congested roads are not for the timid.
