The Guestbook
Dar Zellij restaurant is a few yards from Dar Seven. The restaurant is in the very attractive courtyard of the Riad and you can have pre-dinner drinks on the spacious and well-decorated roof terrace. All the areas are tasteful and romantic. There were three set dinner menus the night we ate and the middle range one offered more variety than we had experienced in other places. Everything was well cooked and presented and service was good. Not cheap but made a pleasant change.

Dar Zellij is a mere stride from the door of Dar Seven. A very romantic setting and the food is delicious. A visit to the spa Les Bains de Marrakech (www.lesbainsdemarrakech.com) is a must – a wonderful experience, advance booking essential.

Candles, rose petals strewn everywhere and proud waiters dressed in wonderful robes. Check out Dar Zellij, just down the road from Dar Seven. Start with a drink on the roof-terrace watching the amazing Marrakech sunsets. Then move downstairs for a Moroccan feast fit for a king, with live local folk music. It's worth going just to check out the architecture of the building.
