Getting there
- Planes JFK, Newark and La Guardia are all within driving distance. The closest is La Guardia, a 20-minute drive from the hotel. Virgin Atlantic has regular flights from London (www.virginatlantic.com).
- Trains New York Penn Station and Grand Central station are both around a 5-minute drive from the hotel. From here, you'll be able to pick up Amtrak (www.amtrak.com) services to other destinations all over the USA. Penn Station will get you to the Hamptons, too, on the Long Island Rail Road (www.lirr.org).
- Automobiles From La Guardia, hit the Grand Central Parkway and then pick up the Brooklyn Queens Expressway towards Manhattan. From JFK, take the Van Wyck Expressway then the Long Island Expressway, before heading over to Manhattan on the Queens Midtown Expressway.
