In the know

Our favourite rooms

Each of the eight antique, timber houses is unique; five have open-air bathrooms with freestanding wooden tubs. Palm Villa tops our list with its ornate, carved windows and sumptuous decor in turquoise and green. All houses are beautifully furnished with traditional Malay fabrics, antiques and carefully picked decorative details, and have pool and lagoon views.

Packing tips

Pack your binoculars for lying back on the loungers and star-gazing.
