Cancellation policy Cancellation Policy (excludes Festive Season bookings): cancellations or amendments received outside of 14 days prior to arrival will not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations or amendments received between 14 - 8 days of the arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee of 20 per cent of the total booking value. Cancellations or amendments received within 7 days of the arrival date, "No Shows" or early departures are subject to a cancellation fee of 100 per cent of the total booking value. Festive Season Cancellation Policy (22 Dec 12 - 5 Jan 13): this policy applies to all bookings incorporating any dates within the period 22 December 2012 - 5 January 2013. Cancellations or amendments received prior to 1st November 2012 are subject to a cancellation fee of 20 per cent of the total booking value at the contracted rate. "No Shows" or early departures are subject to a cancellation fee of 100 per cent of the total booking value at the contracted rate. Cancellations or amendments received on or after 1 November 2012, "No Shows" or early departures are subject to a cancellation fee of 100 per cent of the total booking value at the contracted rate.
Deposit policy A Smith deposit is required upon booking. Should you wish to cancel your booking outside the hotel's cancellation policy, your Smith deposit will be refunded in the form of Smith Vouchers to use against a future Smith booking. We will not be able to refund your Smith deposit if you cancel within the hotel's cancellation policy. Qualia requires a further deposit of 20% of the booking total which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remainder will be paid prior to arrival. A 20 per cent deposit is required to confirm your booking. The outstanding balance for accommodation is required no later than 7 days prior to the arrival date. Bookings are subject to cancellation if pre-payment conditions are not met. If a booking is made within 2 weeks of arrival, full pre-payment is required. Festive Season Deposit & Payment Policy (23 Dec - 5 Jan): a 20 per cent deposit is required to confirm booking. Full prepayment is due no later than 1 November. Bookings on or after 1 November require a 100% deposit at time of booking. Bookings are subject to cancellation if pre-payment conditions are not met. Payments not received by the due date may result in booking/s being cancelled.
