Cancellation policy Cancellation or amendment of reservations are subject to 3-nights fee during winter season (Dec 20 - Apr 15), or 2-nights fee during summer and shoulder seasons (Apr 16 - Dec 19) if notification is not received 65 days (for Xmas), or 21 days (for winter season: Dec 20 - Apr 15), or 14 days (for summer and shoulder season: Apr 16 - Dec 19) prior to arrival. Xmas/New Year reservations are nonrefundable if cancelled or amended within 3 weeks of arrival. No shows are nonrefundable at any time.
Deposit policy A Smith deposit is required upon booking. Should you wish to cancel your booking outside the hotel's cancellation policy, your Smith deposit will be refunded in the form of Smith Vouchers to use against a future Smith booking. We will not be able to refund your Smith deposit if you cancel within the hotel's cancellation policy. Jade Mountain requires a further deposit of 3 night's stay which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remainder will be paid prior to arrival. All reservations based on daily rates must be secured by a 3-night deposit during winter season (Dec 20 - Apr 15) or a 2-night deposit during summer and shoulder seasons (Apr 16 - Dec 19). - Facilities Spa, gym, tennis court, garden, limited internet by reception. This is a tech-free zone: no phones, TVs, sound sytems or WiFi. Each room has either an infinity pool or a Jacuzzi.
- Poolside As well as the infinity pools in 24 of the hotel’s suites (which come complete with tweakable fibre optic lighting), there’s a communal infinity pool with coloured glass mosaic tile at the top of Jade Mountain, beside the restaurant.

- Children Jade Mountain is geared towards romancing couples, and under-15s aren’t allowed. Extra beds are US$150 a night ($225 for Christmas and New Year), excluding 18 per cent tax.
