Koh Phi Phi Eating, drinking and dancing
Despite hordes of arrivals, and the addition of a few swanky resorts, Koh Phi Phi has never quite lost its nonchalant backpacker vibe. Most resort guests will choose to dine in, but should you choose to venture out, there is the usual madcap mix of street stalls and backpacker bars in a warren of small streets near the central beach. These serve Thai, Western and seafood staples, washed down with cheap beers. For dessert and late-night snacks, banana, chocolate and pineapple pancakes do just the trick.
