Ski chalets

Verbier Eating, drinking and dancing

Verbier has an enviable reputation for après-ski and the town certainly knows how to party. We give you the low-down on the best bars and restaurants in the resort.

Chalet d’Adrien

Unusually for Verbier, the celebrated, Michelin-starred L'Appartement restaurant at Hotel Chalet d’ Adrien specialises in Italian cuisine. It’s surprising there aren’t more considering Italy is just over the mountains.

Chez Dany

This cosy chalet is renowned for its way with cheese. Settle down with a glass of crisp local white wine and sample croûte au fromage – baked bread topped with ham, slathered with melted raclette cheese and crowned with a fried egg.

Fer à Cheval

If you’re seeking something casual, head to this relaxed pizzeria, which has a sun-blessed terrace and a range of cheese-and-veg-topped treats. Expect a lively crowd by night.

Le Carrefour’s

Carnivores will love the restaurant's grilled meat, cooked on a hot stone or rosti. There's also plenty to please vegetarians, including winter truffle and wild mushroom ravioli, and pumpkin tortellini with pecorino and hazelnut oil.

Le Cristal

This stylish Valais haunt at Les Ruinettes has beautiful views from its wood-panelled terrace. Service can be a little on the slow side, so don’t come here in a hurry.
