Guestbook

"Le Nid des Cigognes has an intimate atmosphere with a decor that is refreshingly tasteful, contrasting modern and traditional – and serves as a counterpoint to the otherwise wild goings-on in Marrakech. The location can't be beaten, with its own souks on the doorstep. The feeling of living on a vibrant, traditional street brings the real Marrakech to life. The service was excellent, with resident houseboy nothing was too much trouble, and the maids kept the place looking spotless."

Smith tip

Do as the discerning expat insiders do and stock up on spices, food, fabrics, jewellery, lamps and other treasures in the shops closest to Le Nid des Cignones – prices are cheaper and quality is higher, compared to what you’ll find in the main square’s souks. You’ll also find great eats at Place des Ferblantiers nearby – it's an increasingly popular restaurant spot.
