Yep, this time in conjunction with Saab. But this routeplanner not only does the obvious by plotting a journey from A to B, but users can also choose to stop off at restaurants, bars, picnic spots and petrol stations on the way.

>BARS? BUT THEY'll BE DRIVING

One of them will... Seriously, the point of the site is to help passengers enjoy the journey to Mr & Mrs Smith hotel as much as they enjoy their stay, so they might want to take their time getting there, stopping off en route if the desire takes them.

> DOES IT LOOK FAIRLY BASIC, THOUGH?

The site combines a Virtual Earth map with animation to bring the planner to life, while users will be able to scroll over icons and read brief descriptions about the restaurants, bars and hotels plotted on the route.

> SOUNDS LIKE NOTHING MORE EXOTIC THAN A MOTORWAY MAP DOTTED WITH PETROL STATIONS, THOUGH?

Au contraire... travellers can plan a journey that takes them cross-country while stopping off at a couple of country pubs before arriving at their chosen hotel.
