In the know
- Our favourite rooms
- The North and South Attic Suites are the ones to plump for, not just because of their majestic estate views but also for the original wooden beams running across the walls and ceilings and the wealth of period stonework. They’re especially good for families with kids as they can accommodate older children in separate bedrooms.
- Packing tips
- Bring along a pair of binoculars for nature-spotting, several species of deer, birds and frolicking otters gravitate to Fritton Lake.
- Also
- Anglers, golfers and other outdoor pursuers should bring along the necessary kit – the golf course, two-mile fishing/boating lake and 5,000 acres of rural rambling are more than enough to satisfy one’s inner bumpkin.
