- Small dogs only, no cats (monkeys, possibly, and pot-bellied pigs). Smoking is allowed in the communal areas, although not in the bedrooms.

- All rooms are named after English romantic poets and designed by antiques guru Martin Miller. The Keats room has terracotta walls, a collection of gilded frames and prints, and a display of whimsical plates.
- Packing tips
- No need to pack the weighty Miller's Antiques Guide for the nearby Portobello Market on Saturdays; your host provides plenty of copies. And if you're a smoker, nor will you need your Nicorette patches; guests puff away in the lounge.
