Cala Jondal beach is beloved for its seafood restaurants; but for fish we recommend Es Xarcu (+34 971 187 867), in a small cove on the west side of the island. If you want paella, make sure you give them warning. La Masía (+34 971 310 228) is a beautifully time-worn Ibicencan house with a lovely patio; the tasty menu is international. If you like to shop, check out Las Dalias hippie market, open on Saturdays. Walk the maze of small streets in the old town of Ibiza to discover unique boutiques. When at the beaches and calas, try the little chiringuito beach bars where you can eat fresh fish.
The best beaches from Can Curreu are Cala Boix and Pou d'es Lleó o s'Aigua Blanca. On the other side of the island, Cala Compte is the beach to head for. To get away from it all, make a private excursion with the hotel's boat to Formentera. On the mainland the sprawling southern white sand of Playa de la Salinas has long been the choice of the party set.
