Perle is the second in an ambitious chain of bold boutique conversions by a chap described by one local as ‘Marrakech’s answer to Versace’. They’re certainly different. For your first taste of a Marrakshi riad, you may prefer something more traditional in style. But if you’re a frequent flyer to the city and want to sample one of its growing army of super-chic sleeperies, then you’re in for a treat.
