In the know
- Our favourite rooms
- We like Villa Jublag, but each spacious bungalow is self-contained and all are largely identical, except for the larger two- and three-beds – ideal for Smiths travelling en masse. Each one is decorated in a contemporary fashion with hints of traditional Balinese style spread throughout, blending natural materials such as teak, Bangkirai hardwood, coconut timber and rattan.
- Packing tips
- Some shoes fit for cycling – you can borrow bikes for free.
- Also
- Transport to the Gangsa’s Beach Club on Sanur beach is free, and you can arrange a gourmet picnic to enjoy while sun-worshipping.
Current offers
- Smith card offer
- 10 per cent off all food and drink; members staying four nights in a one-bedroom villa will receive a bottle of sparkling wine and a two-hour spa treatment each

A resting place for weary travelers and romantic souls, the Gangsa is concealed in a leafy hamlet near Sanur beach. Its 11 villas offer total privacy (you can even skinny dip in your personal pool without fear of prying neighbours), and the holistic Rebab spa soothes the places your marshmallow-soft four-poster can’t.
