In the know
- Our favourite rooms
- Junior Suites are only marginally larger than Exclusive Rooms, so either is a good choice. Rooms on the fifth floor have a small private balcony. Floors are colour themed, with only two rooms on each one – we like the almond green and purple. Bathrooms are spacious by Parisian standards, and all benefit from natural light.
- Packing tips
- Reading glasses for browsing the bookshops (or sunglasses for Parisian hauteur); existentialist fiction to peruse while sitting in nearby Café de Flore.
- Also
- In line with the area's intellectual leanings, the hotel organises occasional book-signing events. Le Placide also has an electric-assisted Solex bike you can borrow for easy-breezy local jaunts.
